Upwork.com is an online marketplace and freelancing platform. On this platform, as a buyer, you can buy different services from experts worldwide, and as a seller, you can sell your services online. People who require your services will contact you. This is a million-dollar marketplace with huge potential for online works. This article will teach us how to create an account on Upwork.com.
STEP#01: Open the Website Upwork.com
STEP#02: Click on Sign UP
STEP#03: Upwork will provide you with 3 options for signing up. You can sign up with a Google account, Your Apple ID, or you can Sign Up with your Email ID.
Here we will use the Email ID and Click on continue with Email
STEP#04: Write your First and Last Name. Remember it’s important that your written name is written on your Identity so that later it will not be a problem for you to verify your account.

Select work as Freelancer
Choose a username
Check the boxes given below and Click Create My Account
STEP#05: Verify your Email. Go to your Email ID and click on Verify Email in an email received from Upwork.com
STEP#06: Click on Continue
Click on Start my Profile
Upload Your Profile Picture Manually
STEP#07: Select your Main Category of Work, for example, Design & Creative, Data Science & Analytics, etc.
Select Upto 4 Types of Works
Add your Skills
Click Next
STEP#08: Select your Level of Expertise in your field according to your professional experience. You can select Entry Level or Intermediate, or Expert.
Click Next
STEP#09: Click on Add Education
Add your Degree Details and Click Next
You can Select save and add more for adding more than one degrees
STEP#10: Add the Employment info
Click on Add Employment
If you Don’t have past employment, then Click on Skip this step or click on Next
STEP#11 Add English Proficiency. If you are a Native English Speaker, you can select.
You can add other languages as well by clicking add another language
Click Next
STEP#12: Add Hourly Rate for your Services. For Example, if you Add 20$/Hr. Then Upwork will deduct 4$ fee.
Click on Next
(Tip: As a beginner, your Hourly rate should be LESS)
STEP#13: Add a title Related to your Services
Write the professional Overview
Click Next
STEP#14: Click on Add Profile Photo
You can Skip it and add it later
Click Next
STEP#15: Add your Location and Address
Click Next
STEP#16: Add your Phone No.
Click on Preview Profile
