You may upload and save various files, including documents, images, audio files, and videos, to Google servers or the "cloud" using Google Drive. Drive can be used to free up space on your smartphone or as a backup solution.

How does Google Drive work? The end user must create or login into a Google account to use Google Drive. The user then enters "drive.google.com" into their browser. There will be an automated display of "My Drive," which can include synced or uploaded files and folders as well as Google Sheets, Slides, and Docs. Users can create new files on Google Drive or upload existing ones from their computers.

The user may also download a Google Drive application to one or more devices. Each device's file system will display a Google Drive folder alongside other folders. The Google Drive folder on each device or a Google Drive web app can access files that the user adds to a single folder.

STEP#01: From your Android Mobile Phone

Go to Settings

Go to System Settings

STEP#02:  Click on Backup

Click on Account

Click on Ok

You can save all your contacts to Google and access them anywhere. Here are the simple steps on how to backup your contacts on google

STEP#01: Open Your Contacts and Click on 3 Dots at Top Right Corner

 

 

STEP#02: Click on Import/Export Contacts. Now click on Export to Storage

(Tip: In the Samsung phone, you will see the option of manage contacts and then import-export)

All your contacts will be exported and saved in a .vcf file in your drive.

STEP#01:  Open the contacts app and click on 3 lines at the top left Corner.

 

 

STEP#02: Click on Contacts and Click on Settings Option.

At the Bottom, You can see the Import option in manage contacts

Click on Import

STEP#03: Choose the .vcf File.

Login To your Email Account

Click on Allow

 

 

STEP#04: You will see files in Internal Storage. Scroll Down, and you will find the .vcf file. Click on the file, and all contacts will automatically be imported into your contacts list

 

 

HOW TO SAVE AND UPLOAD/BACKUP YOUR PHOTOS ON GOOGLE DRIVE

STEP#01: Open Your Google Drive and Click on The Plus Icon at the bottom Right Corner

 

STEP#02: Click On UPLOAD. Your Gallery Will open. Select All the Photos you want to upload and click on the Tick icon at the Top right Corner.

 

Your Photos have been uploaded. You can click on the Files icon at the bottom right Corner to check your photos.

  

How to Backup WhatsApp on Google Drive and How to Retrieve WhatsApp data

STEP#01: Open your WhatsApp

Click on 3 dots at the top Right Corner

Click on Settings

 

STEP#02: Click on Chat

Click on Chat BackUp

Now click on Back up to  Google Drive and Daily; choose an account and click OK if you want to get your backup Daily.

 

 

STEP#03:  Now click on the Green Back up Button.

WhatsApp will start backup your Chat and Data to your google drive

 

If you lost your mobile phone or deleted your WhatsApp, don't worry. You can back up or Restore your chats and data with just one click.

When you Re-install your WhatsApp, and when you add your mobile NO. on the next step, WhatsApp will look for backup and show you the backup
